Part of Austrian Audio's Open Condenser series and engineered with transformerless Open Acoustics technology that isolates the capsule from vibrations and provides a built-in diffuser, the mic provides accurate, uncolored audio capture for drums, electric and acoustic guitars, pianos, wind and string instruments, or vocals.
The focused cardioid pickup pattern helps to reduce unwanted background sounds, and the included elastic spider shockmount offers additional protection from handling and vibration noises, making the mic well suited to podcasting, streaming, and voice-over applications. A three-position low-cut switch lets you precisely filter out unwanted bottom frequencies for cleaner, clearer audio. The condenser mic capsule requires 48V phantom power through the XLR connector.
