The unit connects directly to the original DSMC2 EVF bayonet and offers a diopter range of -4 to +3. An LED indicator signals when heating is on and blinks when the final temperature is reached. Heating power can be set to the LO position for normal operation and saving current, and to the HI position for low temperatures down to 0°F. Reverse-voltage, overvoltage, and undervoltage protection protects the electronic circuitry, which is easily reset when the switch is set to the OFF position.
