Can this also be operated with a joystick?
Asked by: Seth
Yes, the Marshall Electronics CV620-TBI 20x Tracking PTZ Camera (Black) can be operated by a joystick controller. The camera offers ONVIF, VISCA, VISCA Over IP, and PELCO D protocols. A controller example is the Marshall Electronics VS-PTC-IP IP PTZ Camera Controller. See the link below: https://bhpho.to/42hijVt

It is not. In general PTZ cameras rarely have lens threadings.

We are considering the CV620 for worship streaming and need to know the angle of view at both ends of the zoom range so we can design the installation locations. Can you provide this information?
Asked by: Brandt
Due to the small size of its image sensor, we could not find an FOV calculator that would give us accurate results. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for confirmation: [email protected]

question

Can the minimum pan and tilt speeds go below 1 deg/sec?
Asked by: Lee
That would be a function of the controller it is paired with more than anything else. The compatible VS-PTC-200 that Marshall Electronics offers can be set to 3 different speeds, however there is not a setting that will go that slow. It may be possible if you set the controller to the slowest speed and manually turn the joystick gently though. This sounds like a very specific function you are looking for, feel free to email us directly at [email protected] so we can assist you further.

How much power is needed if powered over a PoE switch? Could you recommend a adequate switch. Trendnet etc?
Asked by: Alex
I am sorry to say we do not have exact figures on how much power is required. That being said, we feel confident it will work with a product like the TRENDnet TPE-082WS 10-Port Gigabit PoE+ Managed Switch, B&H # TRTPE082WS. https://bhpho.to/2BgWjzy
