Engineered for off-camera wireless use, the A2 Monolight features built-in AirX functionality and is compatible with Profoto Air and Connect Pro remotes. You can sync the flash with any camera that has a hot shoe, and you can even capture images with a smartphone via built-in Bluetooth. Additionally, the light is compatible with the Profoto Clic System, a series of powerful light shaping tools for use with A-series flashes.

Small and portable like a can of soda, but very powerful! Very easy to use, reliable, long battery life, top build quality, a variety of magnetic and strong accesories and modifiers that also are compact but powerful and flexible, everything could fit in a small backpack plus your camera/lenses. This is all you need. (Look out for promotions in B&H and Profoto website!)

Versatile and Convenient, but lacking punch

I have a Profoto B1 and I'm inlove with the power and convenience of the system. The air remote, awesome. The B1 Mono light, awesome. So when Profoto released the A2 I was really excited! The size is perfect. The system is flawless and syncs so easily. The control is great. However the options for light modification are lacking and the power is a little disappointing. I will continue to buy from Profoto, I LOVE their systems, but these little lights just didn't live-up to the hype and price tag. Great if your looking for a little kicker or hair light but not much else.

Takes Profoto's habit of over-pricing everything to new heights. Competitive light is 1/4 the price. But, it's Profoto tech so there's that.

After twenty flashes at 8-9, you have to wait a few minutes for it to cool down. At the same time it is impossible to work fully for an hour, because after overheating gives a few flashes - wait a minute, a few flashes - wait a minute. With A1 and A1x there were no such problems. A very bad purchase

Perfect for travel!

I have a B10 and B10X Plus, so wasn't looking for a light to use as a main. Bought this mainly for travel portraits and friends and family events and it has been amazing for both!! Click octa fits in my carry on so I have beautiful light wherever I go now if I want to.

Both the Profoto a 2 & the Godox ad 100 are 100ws. They both have a continuous light. The Profoto has service in the USA. The Profoto is H: 3.1 x W: 3.1 x L: 5.0" / H: 7.9 x W: 7.9 x L: 12.6 cm The Godox ad100 is H 3.0" W3.0" L43/4 Both lights have built in receivers.
