Can one thunderbolt-4 port handle 2 external ...

Can one thunderbolt-4 port handle 2 external monitors?
Asked by: Stanislav
The M2 Chip on this laptop does not support 2 external monitors. Someone answered that it can support 2 external monitors. I purchased this laptop and can confirm it does not natively support 2 external monitors. Only 1. I plug both in, and only 1 monitor shows up. Do not buy this laptop under the impression that you can use 2 external displays. You need to purchase an outsider party's hub with software, which is not guaranteed to work with future OS updates.

I wonder why would Apple take a step back again ...

I wonder why would Apple take a step back again by leaving off the Magsafe, connectivity ports and putting the Touchbar back on? This seems like the previous design MBP with an M2. Am I missing something?
Asked by: stephen
Unfortunately we would not be able to say for sure what the research and design process looks like at Apple, but for now you have two different options with the M2 processor: The MacBook Pro M2, with touch bar and no Magsafe charging, or the MacBook Air M2, with Magsafe charging and no touch bar. There will also no doubt be more M2 models coming later, so for now if you prefer the Magsafe feature and do not care for the touch bar, the MacBook Air M2 is a more attractive proposition.
