The 160GB POWER CFexpress Type A Memory Card & Reader Bundle from Delkin Devices combines a 160GB POWER CFexpress Type A Memory Card with a CFexpress Type A & UHS-II SDXC Memory Card Reader.

The CFexpress Type A card features a storage capacity of 160GB and is designed for professional photographers and videographers. It is well-suited for raw and continuous-burst photography, as well as 8K, 6K, and 4K video at high bitrates and frame rates. You'll be able to achieve maximum read speeds of up to 880 MB/s and maximum write speeds of up to 790 MB/s, while protection is provided against water, shock, and temperature extremes.

The card reader features one CFexpress Type A card slot, one UHS-II SDXC card slot, and connects to your host system using a 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface. It can offload large files, including high-res raw images, as well as 8K, 4K, Full HD, and 3D video, while power is provided via the USB bus. Plug-and-play functionality means that no additional drivers or power adapters are required for use and an anodized aluminum housing helps increase durability. You'll also be able to store one CFexpress Type A card inside the reader and cover the card slot with a rubber cap. Additional protection is provided by multiple heat sinks for increased cooling. For easy system connectivity, USB Type-C to Type-C and Type-C to Type-A cables are included.

Please note that the CFexpress Type A card is not compatible with CFexpress Type B, CompactFlash, or CFast 2.0 hosts. Also, XQD, CFast 2.0, and CompactFlash memory cards are not compatible with this memory card reader. The CFexpress Type A slot operates at 10 Gb/s, while the UHS-II SDXC slot operates at 5 Gb/s.

Faster than any SDXC card

I thought I’d never need a faster memory card for my Sony a7rV. I was using fast SDXC cards (300bps) and found that the Sony a7rV was really bogging down after frequent 5fps bursts. I added the CF Express Type A card into the shooting dynamics and have no had the problem any more. They are expensive. I probably now should have bought a larger card after all.. The included reader for SD and Type A cards is a nice small and a substantial build quality.
