The HP DesignJet Studio 36" Wireless Color Plotter Printer is designed for AEC, GIS, and MCAD professionals to print maps, technical drawings, posters, and renders with precise, accurate line quality and crisp text. Key features include auto switching between roll and tray paper handling. Print multi-size A3/B and A1/D or A0/E projects automatically, without manually switching the media source. The printer features a high 2400 x 1200 dpi optimized print resolution and supports letter size to 36" x 150' paper. High-speed printing as fast as 25 seconds per A1/D plot allows you to be more productive and save time from job prep to final print.

Made for speed and efficiency, the DesignJet Studio 36" allows you to send multiple files in one click via the HP Click software, which is one of the applications included with the printer as a free download. Additionally, with the HP Smart app, you can wirelessly manage and print your jobs from a smartphone or tablet. The included extended warranty is three years instead of the standard one year.

Dynamic Security
The DesignJet Studio 36" Printer is dynamic security enabled. This means that it's intended to work only with cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip or electronic circuitry. It uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using a non-HP chip or electronic circuitry. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. Reused HP chips and electronic circuitry enable the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled cartridges.

I am a photographer and want to print large ...

I am a photographer and want to print large photos,36 inch wide. will all photo papers work from different mnf. And I assume that the printer will work with a Mac. Is that correct?

Hello, the HP DesignJet Studio Printer series are four color inkjet printers, designed to deliver CAD / Construction drawings as well as high quality graphics. Paper up to 610 mm (24 in) or 914 mm (36) wide can be used to print on. Some major features of the printer are shown below: ● Print resolution of up to 2400 × 1200 dpi using the Best print-quality option, the Maximum Detail option and photo paper ● The printer can be controlled from its front panel or from a remote computer using the Embedded Web Server, HP DesignJet Utility*. It can also be controlled from your tablet, or from your mobile device with the HP Smart App. ● Handles roll and cut-sheet paper, with a multi-sheet tray which automatically switches between both. These are the instructions for setting up the printer: Set up using the HP Smart App. You can use the HP Smart App to set up the printer on your wireless network. The HP Smart App is supported on iOS, Android, and Windows devices. For information, see Print from Apple iOS or Android with HP Smart App on page 30. 1. If you are using an iOS or Android mobile device, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. (HP Smart uses Bluetooth to make the setup process faster and easier on iOS and Android mobile devices.) NOTE: The HP Smart App uses Bluetooth for printer setup only. Printing using Bluetooth is not supported. 2. Open the HP Smart App. 3. Windows: On the home screen, tap Set Up a New Printer and follow the onscreen instructions to add a printer to your network. or Android: On the home screen, tap the + icon and then tap Add Printer.
