SmallRig VB155 Overview

The VB155 Mini V-Mount Battery from SmallRig is an ultracompact, lightweight 155Wh battery that can support up to a 14A draw at a nominal 14.8V. This travel-friendly battery is suitable for powering handheld cameras, drones, and gimbals.

The VB155 provides multiple accessory ports, including one 14.8V D-Tap output, one 8 VDC barrel output, one 12 VDC barrel output, one USB-C output, and one USB-A output for powering various accessories, cameras, or mobile devices. The battery can be charged using a standard V-mount charger, an optional D-Tap charger, or by using the USB-C input/output with a 65W PD fast charger. A built-in OLED display shows the remaining battery capacity and status.

Does this support pass through charging? and does it support USB-C PD (Power Delivery) that I could use for powering Pocket 4K?

The SmallRig VB155 Mini V-Mount Battery (155Wh) both supports pass-through charging, as well as PD through the USB-C port. It is recommended to power the Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4k with the D-TAP and power plug regulated adapter.

The current FAA limits on batteries dictate that airlines may only permit two larger batteries(101-160Wh) in carry on bags. All lithium ion batteries must be transported in your carry on bag. So you will likely be limited to two SmallRig VB155 Mini V-Mount Batteries (155Wh) maximum. Be sure to check with your airline before flying to ensure that their rules do not differ from the FAA's current regulations.
