Embossed areas on the box end and lid front are provided for adhesive labels. Metal clamps on the corners, treated with corrosion-resistant polyester, provide rigidity and stacking strength. The acid- and lignin-free archival-grade boxboard is made from fully bleached, high alpha cellulose pulp with no post-consumer-waste recycled pulp, metal particles, waxes, plasticizers, residual bleach, or peroxide, and the sulfur content is less than 0.0008% reducible sulfur. Archival Method's short top boxes have removable, close-fitting lids to seal out dust and contaminants.
