Godox M600BI Overview

This Knowled M600Bi Bi-Color LED Monolight from Godox checks off about every box on your wish list. The light has a wide adjustable color temperature range from 2800 to 6500K, backed by high CRI/TLCI ratings of 96/97 to ensure accurate rendition of color.

The light is dimmable too, in fact the Knowled has four dimming curves to make sure your color is accurate regardless of how you set the intensity level. While you can adjust brightness and color locally on the fixture, you can also make changes wirelessly with 2.4 GHz bandwidth, DMX, or Bluetooth. There are 21 lighting effects, including flash, lightning, TV, broken bulb, candle, fire, fireworks, and more. The light runs on universal 100 to 220 VAC current via the included controller, or you can use an optional V-mount battery when AC power is unavailable.

A great light. I like how you can put the ballast on the ground compared to other brands. I got it on sale and it’ll still be worth it full price. Would highly recommend.

I use it mostly with Godox FlS10 fresnel for recreating harsh sunlight in small indoors. It is much heavier than 300watt version so make sure you have a combo stand if you are raising it high outdoors . C stand is okay if you are using not too high! Controller is high quality and bluetooth app works flawlessly. Now I can use all my Godox lights with one app. Only negative is it’s not weather sealed like Aputure 600 pros! Besides, much cheaper ones are available from other manufacturers for same output.

Is the mounting fixture dual (baby + Junior)? I know its already a baby(5/8) receiver. But can it also be used as a Junior Stud(1 1/8) just like the Aputure 600 and Nanlite 720 does.

Yes, you can attach the Godox Knowled M600Bi Bi-Color LED Monolight to a baby stud or by taking the knob off attach it to a Junior receiver.

On the Godox website it says this comes with a roller case. Here it says portable carry case. Which one will I receive?

Can this be used as a flash wirelessly for professional studio portraits? If not, is there a continuous light that could also be used as a wireless flash with Canon 600 speedlights?

The Godox Knowled M600Bi Bi-Color LED Monolight is only a continuous light; it does not flash. You can use it with a strobe or flash for still photography. There is not a continuous light that flashes as well that works with the Canon 600 speedlight.
