The bundle includes 27, 35, and 50mm Laowa Nanomorph compact anamorphic lenses that feature a 1.5x anamorphic squeeze ratio, silver color flares, markings in meters and feet, 0.8 MOD cine gears, and both ARRI PL and Canon EF mounts. The default mount is interchangeable, and each lens includes shims and front and rear caps. A hard-shell case is included to store and transport the lens bundle.

Venus Optics Laowa Nanomorph 27mm T2.8 1.5x S35 Anamorphic Lens (ARRI PL & Canon EF, Silver Flare)

This Laowa Nanomorph 27mm T2.8 1.5x S35 Anamorphic Lens from Venus Optics is a slender, compact anamorphic lens that captures high-definition video with 1.5x anamorphic squeeze on cameras with S35 sensors. It features a focal length of 27mm, a PL lens mount with an included EF-mount bayonet option, an aperture range of T2.8 to T22 for a deep depth of field, and 13 iris blades for a shallow depth of field and soft bokeh.

The prime lens has a very short minimum focus distance of 16.9" and offers anamorphic qualities such as high contrast, silver color lens flares, and a 70.8° horizontal field of view. Other features include measurement markings in feet and meters, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 77mm front filter thread. The lens comes default with an ARRI PL lens mount, and a Canon EF bayonet mount is included for compatibility with a wide range of cameras.

Constant 1.5x Squeeze Ratio
A 1.5x squeeze ratio is a perfect balance between the size and anamorphic intensity. With a 1.5x squeeze ratio, you will have a 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeeze. There is also room for you to crop into a 2.4:1 widescreen ratio.
Artistic Oval Bokeh
A 1.5x squeeze ratio also renders oval bokeh that gives an artistic touch to the image. It also creates a blurry and creamy background that pops out the subject.
Silver Anamorphic Flare Color
Compared to the more common blue flare, the silver flare is a neutral-colored flare that provides more control over the flare color. Its color changes according to the light source, and it can be relatively subtler and less distracting.
Short Focus Distance
The 16.9" close focus distance is short so users can create closer shots. It renders a shallower depth of field, so the sense of compression will be stronger and the bokeh will be more oval-shaped.
Unified Gear Position
The unified gear position allows users to switch lenses quickly and without readjustment on the focus gear.

Does anyone know if using these lenses with an EF mount in conjunction with the EF to RF adapter on a Red Komodo would cause issues? Interested in using them that way because of the rear ND option.

Actually, no, it doesn't appear they will work with the EF-RF adapter with the drop-in filters. Works fine with any straight EF-RF adapter, but the back element comes up against the drop-in filter in the drop-in filter version

Will the EF version work if I use an EF to Sony E mount adapter on my A7s3?

Although, an EF to E-mount adapter would work for mounting the Venus Optics Laowa Nanomorph S35 Prime 3-Lens Bundle (ARRI PL & Canon EF, Silver Flare), when equipped with their EF mounts, to a Sony A7S III, these lenses are Super 35mm sensors and for using with the A7S III, you would need to crop the sensor to a 1080p mode to avoid vignetting.

Is it possible to mount a Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x onto a Canon R5c, then mount these lenses with an EF mount to make these lenses full frame?

No, the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x (BH #CAMAEFRF71X • MFR #4757C001) is designed to adapt Full-Frame lenses to a Super 35 body. These are Super 35 lenses and the R5C is a Full-Frame body, so you're in the opposite situation. We would recommend buying Full-Frame lenses for the R5C.
