This is a great lens for photographing houses handheld - The IS works down to a 1/4 second exposure if you're using good technique.

At this price point, and given the very good image quality there is not much to add.

I bought this for travel and landscapes and it has met my needs. This lens is sharp, light and compact. I wish this came with a lens hood but for the price it's affordable. It's worth the money.

I've always been leary of variable aperture lenses but the price was too good to pass up. I gave it a try and I was really impressed. Light, compact and image quality is really good. My only negative is that the lens has no AF/MF switch. You have to change that through the menu within the camera menu.

I've been looking for a lightweight ultrawide lens for backpacking to replace my adapted EF 16-35 f/4 IS and I think I've found it. This lens is somehow sharper in the corners at f/8 than the RF 15-35 f/2.8. Central contrast and detail is definitely not as good as that $2300 lens, but you need to zoom in to 200% to notice; at 100% it's VERY subtle. There's some heavy vignetting wide open, but I'm looking for a landscape lens that I'll use stopped down between f/8 & f/11 and this performs amaaaazingly within those parameters.
