This 50mm f/1.8 Super35 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens from Sirui adds 1.33x anamorphic squeeze to your images to achieve standard 2.4:1 widescreen aspect ratios. Designed for Super35/APS-C cameras with a Canon RF mount, the lens features an aperture range of f/1.8 to f/16. A lens construction of 11 elements in 8 groups creates the characteristic, stretched oval bokeh of anamorphic lenses for a unique cinematic look.

The focus ring is capable of rotating 143.6° for intuitive control. A 67mm filter thread allows you to add compatible filters and customize your exposure. Markings on the lens are in both feet and meters. When used with a full-frame sensor, the 50mm lens is equivalent to a 53mm lens horizontally.

What is the crop factor when using this lens with the Red Komodo (RF Mount)? And, what is the Full Frame Equivalent?

The Sirui 50mm f/1.8 Super35 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens (RF Mount) covers Super 35mm sensors like that on the RED DIGITAL CINEMA KOMODO 6K Digital Cinema Camera (Canon RF), so there is no crop factor. If matching to full frame, the equivalent on the full-frame sensor will be 75mm.

The Sirui 50mm f/1.8 Super35 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens (RF Mount) only covers the s35 sensor area, so the Canon EOS R8 will need to be set into cropped video mode to use the lens on the camera.

Will this lens trigger any icon in the viewfinder of the R7 to confirm the subject is in focus? Otherwise is it only visual?

While using the Sirui 50mm f/1.8 Super35 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens (RF Mount) on the Canon R7 camera you will not be able to use the MF "Focus Guide" option. However, you will be able to use the peaking option.
