Godox Ving V860III TTL Li-Ion Flash Kit for FUJIFILM Cameras

Power, speed, and integrated radio transmission make the Ving V860III TTL Li-Ion Flash Kit from Godox a hard-to-beat option for your FUJIFILM cameras. Fully compatible with TTL systems, the Ving V860III supports many advanced functions and features. Also, it features the Godox X wireless radio system, which provides both master and slave TTL functionality at a distance. On top of this, the flash is powerful and versatile, featuring a guide number of 197' at ISO 100 and 200mm along with a zoom range of 20-200mm. And this flash runs off a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack that ensures fast recharge with a capacity of up to 480 full-power flashes.

For general operation, the Ving V860III features full bounce flash capabilities, including tilting and rotation left and right. As a TTL-compatible unit, this flash offers support for high-speed sync, flash exposure compensation, 1st and 2nd curtain sync, and much more. Additionally, it can function as an optical master or slave unit if needed.

Godox XProF TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Fujifilm Cameras

Using the 2.4 GHz Godox X wireless radio system, the XProF TTL Wireless Flash Trigger can be used to effectively and reliably trigger flashes from up to 328' away, and when used with compatible flashes and receivers users will have the added benefit of remote power control. This model is compatible with Fujifilm's TTL system, including support for high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, and offers advanced control options along with settings for working with system-specific features. For ensuring maximum reliability and control, users can set up 16 groups on one of 32 channels and can then access 99 wireless ID settings for limiting interference from other nearby systems.

In addition to basic manual and TTL control modes, other settings are available, including stroboscopic flash and second-curtain sync. Users can adjust flash exposure compensation from -3 to +3 EV as well as wirelessly control the modeling light, zoom setting, and more. For using the XProF with other camera systems there is a 2.5mm sync port that supports triggering via a wired connection. Also, a USB Type-C port is present for firmware updates and the devices run on two AA batteries for convenience.

After a couple of video lessons, I was good to go. I became comfortable enough to connect it to my Godox XPro II TTL Wireless Flash Trigger (for Nikon Cameras) and have enjoyed my photo experiences since then. I might need more flashes

I am really enjoying the Godox V860III, the ability to use both of my speed lights with the trigger. The battery life is fantastic, really enjoying this product.

In the past I would only use Nikon flashes, but I was interested in trying out the first generation version of this flash to see how the lithium battery performed. After only one job with it I was hooked. It is so much better that messing with multiple sets of rechargeable AAs. The TTL is not as good as the Nikon flash, but I almost always use manual so that is not a big deal. What I love about this version is the new simplified menu and the little LED modeling light on the front. As a Nikon Z6ii user this comes in handy when the light is getting dark.

Mount BROKE after maybe 20 uses

This flash is great - it works excellently. BUT the mount for this flash is so pathetic. I expected a hardier system after paying this much money for flash. But I also own the Godox mini 350 and the mounting (albeit a bit annoying) is soooo sturdy. Every time this was mounted on my camera it felt so weak. Be careful when buying this product as it's not meant for event situations where the flash is on the camera as you move around. Be sure to disconnect it before you move around. Truly disappointed.

Plays well with others

After dropping my V860ii, I upgraded to this model and I love that they have revised the base tension. I am also excited to no have a 2nd trigger that will also work well with my 1st trigger so my lighting will remain the same between both cameras. I love the Godox Ecosystem.

You won't find a better flash for macro!

The red AF assist beam emitted from the Godox Ving V860III TTL Li-Ion Flash Kit for Nikon Cameras will not function when the flash is used on the Nikon Z6 II Mirrorless Camera. However, the camera's blue AF assist beam will work.

Does this use the same battery as the V860II?
Asked by: Jeffrey
The V860III takes the same battery as (and is interchangeable with) the V1, the VB26A. It does not share/take batteries from the V860II or the AD100. See Godox's website for further clarification if necessary.

Can you charge the battery by plugging USB-C power directly into the USB-C port rather than the just the external charger? Manual only mentions the port is for firmware updates. Hoping I won't need to take the charger everywhere and can charge the battery directly in the flash.
Asked by: Kirk
Just tested a unit. You can only charge the battery by pulling it out and using the external charger. The USB-C port on the flash itself isn't very useful. Kind of a waste for it to be there for only firmware updates. Oh well.
