Klipsch PROMEDIA 2.1 Overview

Experience rich, booming audio while playing games, watching movies, and listening to music from your computer with the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speaker System. Designed primarily to enhance computer entertainment experiences, this system is designed to deliver up to 260W of peak power with two satellite speakers and a powerful 6.5" side-firing ported subwoofer for impactful bass response down to 35 Hz. The bass blends with the two-way satellite speakers' 3" midrange drivers and 0.75" tweeters for a rich, immersive audio. Each side speaker uses Klipsch MicroTractrix horn technology to deliver high clarity. THX certification further enhances the listening experience, allowing you to hear details such as an opponent's footsteps.

Connect the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speaker System to your desktop computer, laptop, or other device with a 3.5mm audio jack. A removable control pod attaches to either speaker and lets you quickly adjust the speaker and subwoofer volume levels. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack alongside a 3.5mm aux input, which lets you connect a phone, tablet, or other media player directly to the speaker system.

Description says Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is THX certified. However, one of the reviews indicated that it is no longer TXH certified. Is the product currently for sale really TXH certified? Does indicate this on the box

Most televisions output optical toslink. Only some of them have an 1/8'' headphone or aux output that would be directrly comaptible with the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speaker System. If your television only has toslink optical, you can use a digital to analog converter like BH #FID03K for compatibility with the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speaker system.

Yes, the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speaker System, B&H # KLPROMEDIA21, is a suitable replacement for a Bose Companion 3 Series although I would keep in mind that this is highly subjective since everybody can have different opinions when it comes to audio.
