Quick delivery as always for B&H but the item itself is so cheaply made that I will be returning it. Nothing more than solar film taped to the inside of a plastic ring. Taped without regard to use because there are bends in the film which will create distortion in your image. Definitely not worth the price because you can order overpriced solar film at half the cost. I was looking for a more durable item that I could continue to use after the eclipse for solar photography.

The Celestron EclipSmart Solar Filter for Celestron 5" Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes makes it safe for you to attempt to view the prominences (flames), or the corona. What you will actually see will depend on the optics in use, the time of day, and date you are doing so.
