Combining tubeless night vision technology with the ability to take stills and video, the iGen LE Night Vision Monocular with Image Capture from Night Owl Optics uses an automatically adjusting infrared emitter to produce an undistorted 37 lp/mm digital image that is recordable as a still to an included memory card. The monocular has ambient light amplification on par with Generation 3 phosphorescent tubes when used with the exposure control option and features 2.6x magnification expandable to 6.1x with the 58mm Lens Doubler.

The unit takes four AA alkaline batteries and is rated to last up to 2.8 hours with the infrared emitter at maximum intensity. The low-capacity memory card holds up to 400 stored images.
