Netgear RAXE300 Overview

Connect wired network devices such as computers, video game consoles, and smart TVs to the four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, two of which may be combined using link aggregation for 2G speeds with compatible devices. A fifth Gigabit Ethernet port is also available alongside a 2.5G port, either of which may be connected to your broadband modem as a WAN port or connected to high-speed LAN devices such as computers, switches, and storage drives. Use the integrated USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port to connect external drives and share videos, music, and other files across the network. The Nighthawk RAXE300 works with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to quickly configure your network using voice commands. Also, with VPN support, you can securely access your home network and internet connection using your mobile device from almost anywhere in the world.

6 GHz Wi-Fi Band

The Nighthawk RAXE300 takes advantage of the less congested 6 GHz signal band, working with 4 x 4 MU-MIMO and Beamforming technologies to provide high-speed wireless access to up to 40 compatible devices, covering up to 2500 square feet.

Fast Wi-Fi

The foldable wing-shaped enclosure houses six powerful internal tri-band antennas, which are designed to deliver wireless speeds of up to 600 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz frequency, 4.8 Gb/s over the 5 GHz band, and 2.4 Gb/s over the 6 GHz signal.

Multi-Gig Ethernet Port

Both the Gigabit and 2.5G Ethernet ports may be configured to operate as either a WAN port with supported internet services or as a LAN port for high-speed connections to compatible network devices.

Link Aggregation

With link aggregation, two of the four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports may be combined to achieve 2G speeds for faster file transfers with compatible devices.

VPN Support

Use your mobile devices to securely access your home network and internet connection from almost anywhere in the world.

Nighthawk App

The Nighthawk mobile app allows you to quickly configure, manage, and monitor your network using your mobile device. You can also use it to set up a guest login, test your internet speeds, pause internet connections for specified devices, and more.

Hook up was rather easy but it failed to provide internet service as advertised. We couldn't get the television to work and the internet was slower. We switched back to the old router.
