The CINE 5 features a bright 2000 cd/m², 1920 x 1080 LCD touchscreen with 3D LUT compatibility. Using the intuitive PageOS 5, you can turn on and save pages of various monitoring tools and focusing aids with a finger tap, and the CINE 5 also adds a joystick on the side and a button on the back for ease of use. There is a 5-pin USB output to utilize optional RED camera control. The monitor can be powered using its 2-pin power input.

I have been using other monitors for some years now, but this one seams to just put that YES into it. lol. The screen is very nice and bright and it's easy to navigate through the menus.

SmallHD charges what they charge because no one else makes what they make. The display brightness, quality is great, but can be replicated by other cheaper options, what you are paying for however, is usability. This is the most useable and well thought out monitor I have ever used. It genuinely speeds up my production workflow, and that to me is worth the cost.

Yes, the SmallHD CINE 5 Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor can accept an HDMI output from the Canon EOS C70 Cinema Camera (RF Mount). Please note that the Cine 7 can only accept up to a 1080p60 signal and so the output of the C70 may need to be adjusted to output at that resolution.
