Monitor your color-critical production with this DM211 21.5" Wide-Gamut LCD Professional Monitor from FSI Solutions. The DM211 monitor is a high-contrast monitor with a bright 300 cd/m² LED display equipped with two 3G-SDI inputs and two 3G-SDI outputs that support video resolutions up to 1080p60. It also has a DVI-D port for digital DVI and one DisplayPort input. It also features dual 3G-SDI loop outputs to send your video to a second display.
Color Management
FSI's Color Fidelity and LUT Interpolation Engine (CFE3) features numerous calibration and Look LUT presets for accurate color reproduction. Instantly select from Rec.709, EBU, SMPTE-C, DCI-P3, Rec.2020 emulation, native wide gamut, and custom user-generated color spaces.
Calibration
FSI monitors come pre-calibrated from the factory, and all DM series monitors support autocalibration over time. DM-series monitors are also compatible with popular third-party calibration solutions, including Calman, LightSpace, and ColourSpace. Quickly and easily perform your own custom 3D LUT-based calibration with any program capable of saving into FSI's calibration LUT format.
Software Integration
Monitor features are supported by select applications, including FSI's DM Series IP Remote Utility, Pomfort's Livegrade Pro, and QTake's Grade Module, as well as Assimilate Live Assist and Live Looks.
On-Set Color Management
- Real-time LUT updates with compatible software without the need for additional standalone LUT management hardware.
- Real-time waveform and vectorscope data is transmitted directly from your monitor to your computer with no additional equipment needed.
- Capture and save full-resolution reference still frames from incoming video signals.
- Upload and store up to 16 3D Looks / DIT LUTs and instantly toggle between them using the up and down buttons.
Second Screen Output
- Mirror what you see on the screen to downstream equipment.
- Apply LUTs on DM Series monitors and other downstream monitors simultaneously.
- Second-screen outputs work in addition to standard loop-through outputs, allowing you to simultaneously output clean and manipulated images.
Zero Delay Fast Mode
Activating Zero Delay Fast Mode reduces the total latency between receipt of the signal and the on-screen display to less than one field. This is helpful in environments that require instantaneous video processing speed, such as on-set, studio, and post-production environments.
Image Flip
DM Series monitors have multiple image flip modes, including Vertical, Horizontal, and Vertical + Horizontal. Image Flip works on all inputs and is mirrored downstream via second screen output.
Cross Conversion
DM Series monitors come equipped with cross-conversion capability, allowing you to input DisplayPort or DVI signals and convert them to SDI output.
Live Side-By-Side Monitoring
The live side-by-side monitoring feature allows for mixed formats, mixed frame rates, and even mixed input types to be viewed together in PaP, PiP, or PoP configurations.
Horizontal and vertical split-screen viewing with adjustable split positioning is also possible with two sources that share the same resolution and frame rate.
Timecode
The on-screen display of VITC1, VITC2, or LTC timecode pulled from SDI signals is adjustable in size and position.
Remote Control
The IP Remote Utility can be used to remotely toggle functions, switch inputs, and navigate the menu on Flanders Scientific monitors using your macOS or Windows computer's keyboard, mouse, or control panel. The utility is also available for iOS devices.
