Multi-Source/Multi-Room
Supporting two-zone audio, the Denon AVR-X3800H will let you pair a second set of speakers in another room. One room can playback a source in 7.1, while the other plays in 2-channel stereo. When set up, each room can listen to their own audio source.
Room Calibration
Using the Audyssey MultiEQ XT32 suite of EQ software and included Audyssey measuring microphone, you can precisely calibrate your speaker system to your specific room. For even more fine-tuning and customization, you can change what's provided with the Audyssey MultiEQ Editor app. With a planned future firmware update and a fee, you can also use Dirac Live calibration.
Bluetooth Transmitter
If it's late at night and you want to watch a movie without disturbing anyone, you can pair your favorite Bluetooth headphones to the AVR-X3800H. As an added bonus, you can stream to headphones and use your speaker system simultaneously.
