Good lens from deep space

I'm just getting started in astrophotography and photo editing through Affinity Photo 2. I'm trying to get all in on it and also bought an iOptron tracker as well to help with taking the photos. I have an issue where every time I use it for deep space, I'm getting a ring in the images which create challenges when editing. All that said, with my taxes completed, I know I can spend more for perhaps a higher-end lens. If it wasn't for the ring, I wouldn't even bother upgrading. Great lens for day time use though!
