These cards work very well and last a long time. They are built to handle a lot of photos and formatting. I have several and have only one go bad on me over the last 8 years, Good value for money.

I'm also reviewing a 128GB Compact Flash Card. I just received my new Canon 5D body and it takes one or two memory cards. So I decided I needed to match them up. I now have both the 128FB Compact Flash and the 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro Card. I send all photos to both the memory cards so if I have a problem I should always have a back-up that is fine. I had several 64GB SanDisk but only 32GB CF cards. Now they are matching and based upon past history each card should last me two full days of shooting. If not I'll just get two more 128GB cards, one of each kind all over again. I have a past history with both cards and they have always done the job.

I wasn't expecting to find a memory card with this much capacity for the price, so I bought two of them when I made my purchase. Since my new camera didn't come with a memory card, buying one of these was a must and it works perfectly and fits great into my laptop where I eventually move all of my photos into when I finish a project. I'm very pleased with the quality of this memory card and am especially pleased with the price.

We have used SanDisk drives and cards almost exclusively for the past 12 years. In our educational environment (Mass Communication) there have been very few problems.

SanDisk's offer is a free scan and evaluation, recovery requires a purchased license. They have outlined via their website that you can download a demo version of RescuePro or RescuePro Deluxe with the purchase of their memory cards. These demo versions will show you what files can be recovered and provide a preview of the files for some common picture file types. The demo versions will require purchase of a license key to enable the feature to save the files. This is an excellent way to see if the program will work before you purchase.

Yes, the SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC Memory Card is compatible with the Canon EOS C100, C100 Mark II, and C200 Cinema Cameras. For some of the more memory intensive codecs, especially on the C200, you would want a faster card to record that.
