Hasselblad XCD 55mm f/2.5 V Reviews

XCD 55mm f2.5 V lens on X2D and X1DII Camers

I received a XCD 55mm f2.5 V lens and used it on a X1DII Camera for a couple of weeks before receiving my XD2. The lens are quick and quiet on both cameras and the images are comparable to the older XCD lens. The MF/A focus ring is useful but I still have more to learn about how they interact with X2D and X1DII cameras controls. The function ring also requires more investigation. I bought the 55 mm V lens to supplement the XCD 2.8 65 mm for a normal lens as it is much lighter weight. I do not plan to get the 38 and 90 mm v lens.

Unfortunately, the Hasselblad has made no claims of weather-sealing on the new XCD 55mm f/2.5V, and we believe that like other XCD lenses that it lacks any notable weatherization.

The V designation would indicate that the XCD 55mm f/2.5 Lens would have an integrated shutter.
