Hasselblad XCD 90mm f/2.5 V Reviews
INCREDIBLE!
As others have stated, this lens has a loud shutter; but, after a little use, it starts to sound good. The IQ out of this lens blows me away. This lens and the XCD 38 on a 100mp sensor allows me to crop so deep I don't need or want a zoom lens.
Holds up easily to my great expectations
This is my third lens for my 907x/CFV100x after the 55 and 25. I have it since a week and love it. It's awesome for portraits or compress space in landscape shots. I had it with me yesterday on a snowmachine trip through the White Mountains north of Fairbanks Alaska. I carried my gear in a small slingshot backpack and was out for more than 6h in -20°F and colder and had absolutely no issue with this lens, the others or the camera. The autofocus and the manual focus worked flawless in the cold, either with gloves or ice-cold fingers. The colors are superb with this and the other lenses - Alaskan winter light has not much quantity but a great quality and this lens rendered the subtle changes from orange to blue or slight pinks into blue beautifully. The bokeh of the lens is a dream and the depth of field at 2.5 is super small and falls off nice and soft. Very easily 5 out of 5 stars!
