Yes, the Canon XA60 Professional UHD 4K Camcorder would be a great option for recording lectures as it has face detection for autofocus. When connected to AC power, the camera only has a recording limit of the size of your chosen SD card. When recording in a 3840 x 2160 resolution in an XF-AVC codec on a 128GB SD card, one could expect up to 105 minutes of recording time until that SD card is full. You can also record with Relay Recording, in which if an SD card in one slot is filled, the camera will continue recording onto the second slot, extending your recording time.

Can I connect the XA60 directly to my Rodecaster Pro 2 combo input jack via the XLR audio input?
The 3.5mm input on the Canon XA60 is an input, not an output. You can run audio from the Rodecaster Pro II into the Camera but not the other way around. You cannot plug the Canon XA60 directly to my Rodecaster Pro 2 combo input jack via the XLR audio input.

The Canon XA60 Professional UHD 4K Camcorder does not have SDI. The model that has the SDI is the Canon XA65 Professional UHD 4K Camcorder.

How good is XA60 in low light is it different than the lens on the older XA20 1/2.84” HD? Does the XA20 use the same handle?
The Canon XA60 is better with low light than XA20. The XA20 handle is not compatible with the XA60. For the best low light operation, using the XA70 or XA75 with the 1" sensor will render the best results.

Can it be powered by USB C PowerDelivery unit for long shoots where there's no electricity?
Canon only recommends using Canon power adapters with the Canon XA60 Professional UHD 4K Camcorder. Other USB-C power sources may not be compatible. A dummy battery, such as the GyroVu D-Tap to Canon BP-828 Dummy Battery Cable (30"), BH # GYVDTAPBP828, with a D-Tap battery would be recommended.
