The Media Converter 10/100/1000 Mb/s Copper to 1000 Mb/s Fiber from Black Box extends a copper-based network via fiber over a maximum distance of 50 miles through the use of an SFP. It features one RJ45 connector, one SFP slot, and diagnostic LEDs on the front panel. The unit can be used standalone or with an optional LHGC-RACK chassis.
