This hand grip is very well made, as are all RRS products. The color and sheen match the camera body to a T. The notch in the grip to rest your middle finger while having the camera at eye level with the index finger on the shutter is an ingenious piece of design. This grip is so comfortable to use just because of this design innovation. The bonus you get by using this hand grip is that it doubles as a L-plate that you can use to mount the camera on a tripod in the portrait mode too. Additionally, the L section makes the camera more comfortable to hold with the left hand, specifically since the left side of the camera body is pretty slim. Buy this!!!
