Is this the same thing as the Rode NT-UBS Mini for an extra $50? They appear functionally identical except for the color.

The Rode X XCM-50 is built with improved DSP and is made to work more ideally with voiceover quality in mind. The Rode NT-USB MINI is made more ideally for conferencing, streaming and some podcasting.

Does the mute button mute the microphone or the headset? I provided feedback to Rode that they need to have the mute button to mute the mic and not the headset. Hope Rode implemented that before I would consider buying it.
