What is Mesh?

You network is protected with WPA3 encryption in addition to AiProtection Pro features and advanced parental controls. The 2.5G Ethernet WAN port allows you to take advantage of multi-Gig internet services while the three 1G LAN ports allow you to connect wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles.

Wide Wi-Fi Coverage

Featuring six powerful internal antennas, the ZenWiFi XT9 mesh Wi-Fi system is designed to deliver up to 7780 Mb/s over the 2 GHz and dual 5 GHz bands, covering up to 5700 square feet.

Easy Setup & Management

Get your Wi-Fi network up and running in just three steps using the free ASUS Router App for iOS and Android. You can also issue voice commands such as turning on the guest network through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant compatible devices.

Flexible Backhaul

This ZenWiFi system allows you to optimize communication between Wi-Fi modules by configuring a dedicated backhaul. You can choose between using the second 5 GHz wireless band or an Ethernet cable for dedicated backhaul connections. Or you can let the intelligent system automatically configure the best experience for you.

Wired Connectivity

Connect the 2.5G WAN port to your compatible broadband modem to take advantage of multi-Gig internet services. Two of the four 1G LAN ports may be combined using link aggregation to create a 2G connection to compatible devices.

Comprehensive Security

In addition to the WPA3 security protocol, the ASUS ZenWiFi XT9 also features AiProtection Pro powered by Trend Micro and advanced parental controls. ASUS Instant Guard provides you with one-click, secure access to your network from almost anywhere in the world through an encrypted VPN tunnel.

Add Peripherals with USB

Each router features a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port for the connection of optional peripherals to enhance your network's capabilities. Give all of your devices access to a USB printer or access to external USB storage.

Expand your Wi-Fi coverage by adding ASUS AiMesh compatible routers to your network as satellites.

Yes, you can combine two ASUS ZenWiFi XT9 AX7800 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System (2-Pack, Black) using one ZenWiFi XT8 as a router and the rest as satellite mesh points.

i have an 11,000 square foot home. can i add ...

i have an 11,000 square foot home. can i add additional units to cover that area? i do have cat 5 and cat 6 throughout the home.
