The iPad Pro's Liquid Retina display features a 2388 x 1668 resolution, the P3 wide color gamut, ProMotion support with a 120 Hz refresh rate, True Tone for comfortable viewing, and 600 nits of max brightness for SDR content. On the front, Apple uses a 12MP Ultra Wide Camera with Center Stage, which uses the 12MP Ultra Wide 1080p camera and machine learning to automatically pan, zoom, expand, and actively adjust the frame during video calls, whether it's just you or multiple participants. On the rear, there are 12MP Wide and 10MP Ultra Wide cameras for 4K, Full HD, and multi-cam filmmaking with Smart HDR 4. The LiDAR scanner helps determine distance by determining light reflection and further readies possibilities for augmented reality and beyond.

Apple has also equipped the iPad Pro with 128GB of storage and 8GB RAM, plus a 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt port with a USB-C interface for driving external displays at resolutions up to 6K, as well as external storage and docks. Moving to the audio side of things, the iPad Pro has five studio-quality mics and delivers theater-like sound and support for Dolby Atmos with four-speaker audio. Also supported are pro accessories, including the Apple Pencil (2nd Gen), Magic Keyboard, and the Smart Keyboard Folio. Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) ensures a fast Wi-Fi connection, and 5G LTE will allow network connectivity when Wi-Fi is not available, so long as you have a separately-sold data plan.

I use a MacBook Pro for processing photos as I travel, and decided to get the iPad as a more convenient way to share them. That's really all I wanted, viewing photos with something smaller and more convenient. A quick and easy airdrop. I've not been a big fan of the Mac IOS, but have suffered through it because it does a great job with photos. But the iPad? Horrible!!! The ability to simply airdrop photos to a folder or album on the iPad for viewing requires many, many steps. Not intuitive, ridiculously complex - insulting how poorly this software functions. I am not stupid when it comes to computers - when apple support even tells me there are a few more steps to move photos from folder to folder or from one device to another, it is time to move over to a different OS. So sad. Great build quality, super fast, amazing screen - horrible OS.

Everyone that has iPads know they last a really long time so the price mostly justifiable:). My old, very first iPad Pro began to lose battery time and take forever to charge plus needed new iPad with faster chip to use apps I need that need newer processor. Also the new iOS workflow improvements will not work with my older iPad so got this smaller one that was close to the original size. Needless to say it is worlds faster and battery charge last a really long time. Also with the newer pad I can use the pencil which not possible on my older one. Love can move screens around and work with several apps at same time and also now have second iPad ( also have M2 12.5) that I can use to do everything can do basically on the larger one without having to wait to recharge because everything in the cloud so can go from phone to iPads to MacBook and that an awesome feeling having everything important at my fingertips. Last thing will say for those thinking of Apple product, is that for long time the native apps considered throwaway apps but not anymore. So many apps now want high price subscriptions but the Apple apps are stepping up and can ditch many apps subscribed to because are getting many utilities with purchase price of iPad. Would suggest subscribing to Apple 1 though if interested in saving some money if you purchase cloud space and subscribe to Apple Music, pay basically the same price but get a whole lot more and family sharing for like $30 a month. Hope that helps those thinking of choosing Apple for first time. II have never once had an Apple product fail or fall but still get the AppleCare for about first 2 years. Apple offers a monthly payment option but confirm can do that before not buy it outright.

I purchased this M2 chip iPad Pro for my cousins to use for FaceTime sessions. They had an ancient iPad that was no longer being supported with software updates and had limited memory. Former FaceTime chats gave me very poor quality video of them, they had no video of me and there were frequent screen freezes and loss of audio. This new latest and greatest M2 Chip iPad Pro has crystal clear focused video of them with its new multi camera technology and they have video of me! Audio is perfect and no screen freezes or loss of connection happens. The Express shipping from B&H got it to them in 2 days. They opened the box, charged it up and we had an awesome visit. They now have a great tool to stay connected with other family members, too.

The device itself functions nicely. Very big ecosystem with useful apps. Fast and responsive. If your all-in on the Apple ecosystem than this OS might be amazing. This system is great for anyone who doesn't need any form of customization. The OS is just very outdated and needs a complete redesign with functionality when compared to android. Apparently, Apple still haven't figured out how to add a calculator to the ipad, very limited amount of useful gestures, add a close all apps button, widgets controls are bad/very limited, and file management is very poor. The Apple pencil is great when using in an app. But I have noticed it to be gitchy at times in apps and on the Home screen. I use this mainly for watching videos, random notes, and playing bloons. I get maybe 5 hours of battery life out of it. Charging speed is very slow. The usbc to usbc cable is garbage for transferring data.

The photo is unclear. Is there a 1" wide gray area on the left with the camera lenses a the top? If so, is the screen still 11"?

On that photo of the Apple 11" iPad Pro M2 Chip (Late 2022, 256GB, Wi-Fi Only, Space Gray), the gray area with the cameras on top is a second iPad with a view of the back of it. The front of the iPad does not have that area.
