The Promediagear Lens Foot fits my Canon RF 100-300 f/2.8L perfectly. It’s about 1/16” shorter in height than the OE foot and a full 7” long. It is well made of quality materials and the finish is perfect. If I have any complaint, it is with the edges when handholding, it is less comfortable than the stock canon foot. It would be nice if a neoprene cover was available to help with handholding. I’m happy with my purchase and would buy it again if needed.

This lens foot is longer than others I have, coming in at 7. I was having issues with an RRS foot on the RF600: It just wasn't long enough with a heavy lens and a light camera body without turning the foot backwards. This foot fixed the issue. It is plenty long, sturdy and has tether capabilities. It also has a QD port, although I'm not sure I would want to carry a heavy, expensive lens that way.

Is the ProMediaGear Lens Foot for Canon Telephoto Lenses compatible with the Canon RF 100-300 f/2.8L IS USM?

Based on the answer from B&H staff (Danial), I purchased this lens foot and installed it on my RF 100-300 f/s,8L and it fits perfectly. The lens hood is still reversible and the foot is slightly lower than the OEM foot making it more stable.
