Can this be triggered through the Speedlite EL-1 without using the GOX1TC?
The Godox system is not directly compatible with the Canon radio system. If you use a X2 transmitter on camera then you can use an EL-1 on top and sync the lights.

The Ad600 is a great to unit.
Depending on ceiling height will determine output an average ceiling is 8.5ft so an out put of 1/4 of a power would do the trick make sure the ceiling is white.

390 shots on full power. The battery issues of the AD600Pro fortunately did not affect the other batteries in the Godox line.
