Sirui 35mm T2.9 1.6x Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens (Nikon Z)

The Nikon Z-mount 35mm T2.9 Anamorphic 1.6x Lens from Sirui produces a wider look equivalent to a 22mm spherical full-frame field of view. Suitable for capturing architecture, landscapes, and confined spaces, this lens features rich detail, cinematic, oval bokeh, and artistic lens flairs. This lens produces horizontal blue streaks when pointed at a light source, giving your footage a dreamy or science fiction aesthetic. An image captured in 16:9 is de-squeezed to an anamorphic 2.8:1 aspect ratio, whereas shooting in 3:2 yields a 2.4:1 final image.

A key aspect of anamorphic lenses is oval bokeh, which can gently distort objects and lights in the distance, providing an abstract background for your actors. Its T2.9 aperture produces a shallow depth of field, blurring everything in front or behind the specifically chosen focal plane. This lens incorporates a 1/4"-20 mounting thread and has cine-style geared focus and aperture rings.

Sirui 1.25x Anamorphic Adapter

The Sirui 1.25x Anamorphic Adapter enables you to convert any spherical lens into an anamorphic or increase the squeeze ratio of an existing anamorphic lens. Use it to create a 1.25x anamorphic effect with a spherical lens or a 2x squeeze with a 1.6x anamorphic lens. This lightweight and compact adapter mounts on lenses via a rear 82mm thread and can be adapted using the included 92mm step-up, or 67, 72, and 77mm step-down rings.

This lens will work in croped cameras as Sony FX30, it will perform normally being just the smaller FOV the only issue?

The Sirui 35mm T2.9 1.6x Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens (Sony E) is compatible with full frame sensors, as well as any other sensor, smaller than full frame. On a Sony FX30, this lens would act approximately as if used on a super 35mm sensor.

The original version of the Sirui 35mm T2.9 1.6x anamorphic lens (#SIVENUSL35) was constructed with aluminum alloy, versus the carbon fiber construction on the newer model (#SISATURNL35N).

No, there isn't a speed booster that will adapt an RF lens, like the Sirui 35mm T2.9 1.6x Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens (Canon RF), on to the RF mount on the Canon EOS C70 Cinema Camera (RF Mount), B&H # CAEC70.

Is there a way to desqueeze the photo while shooting outdoor; a specific monitor with 1.6 desqueeze factor.

When shooting outdoors with the Sirui 35mm T2.9 1.6x Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens (Sony E), displays that have a custom de-squeeze feature, like the PORTKEYS LH7P (B&H # POLH7PB), would allow for a 1.6 setting. This feature offers anamorphic image de-squeeze with all the standard ratios (i.e. 1.33x, 1.5x, and 2.0x) and the possibility to enter a custom aspect ratio from 0.25 to 4.0x.

The Sirui 35mm T2.9 1.6x Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens (Sony E) is a full frame lens, and the Sony A6700 is a APS-C sensor. We recommend Super 35 lenses for your camera model. Or you could work with a wider angle full frame lens (24mm) to cover the APS-C sensor of the A6700.
