The Sony E-mount 100mm T2.9 1.6x Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens from Sirui creates strong background compression, rich detail, cinematic bokeh, and artistic lens flairs suitable for up to 8K full-frame capture. This longer, 100mm T2.9 lens produces a shallow depth of field with a distinct focus falloff. Its anamorphic design produces an oval bokeh and horizontal blue streaks, giving your footage a dreamy or science fiction aesthetic. An image captured in 16:9 is de-squeezed to an anamorphic 2.8:1 aspect ratio.
The 100mm prime features a female 1/4"-20 thread compatible with many lens supports, and its focus and aperture rings are uniformly geared like the other lens in the series for use with a follow focus and lens control system.
The Sirui 1.25x Anamorphic Adapter enables you to convert any spherical lens into an anamorphic or increase the squeeze ratio of an existing anamorphic lens. Use it to create a 1.25x anamorphic effect with a spherical lens or a 2x squeeze with a 1.6x anamorphic lens. This lightweight and compact adapter mounts on lenses via a rear 82mm thread and can be adapted using the included 92mm step-up, or 67, 72, and 77mm step-down rings.
