While this preamp has an appealing, expanded top end that can breath fresh air into any signal, it also has warmth, inducing distortion when pushed, resulting in a truly distinctive and musical character.

The TG2 features transformer-balanced amplifiers and I/O, including two balanced XLR mic inputs and two unbalanced, high-impedance 1/4" instrument inputs, while the output is mixed from both preamps, summed, and sent to the two output channels. The TG2 also comes equipped with plenty of features that will serve you well in a multitude of studio scenarios, including +48V phantom power, a phase reversal switch when using two mics on the same source, and impedance switching between 300 and 1200 ohms to match any microphone.
