For the Patient and Curious

I'm using this card with an i9-9900kf, 16GB ddr4 and ASRock z390M Pro with beta REBAR support. The problems began immediately with displays not being detected (HDMI & DP) and having to disconnect and reconnect cables. The promise of easy O.C. comes with lockups and crashes. Using this card to give life to an aging system is advised against.

I did a lot of research on it. It seemed alright so I bought it, so far so good and with each driver update it seems to be getting better

Got this card because I didn't want to support nvidia. It does the job but I wish it was a tad bit more powerful. RGB lighting is a plus. Software works fine. Looks great vertically mounted. Hoping for a more powerful car from Intel in the future.

Let haters hate

Despite how bad people think these cards are I've had nothing but good experiences. I can run Shadow of the Tomb Raider at high settings and get ~120fps, Cyberpunk at lower settings is also ~120fps, even older titles at max settings look better than they ever have. If all you do is watch, or read the launch day reviews with all the doom and gloom about these cards your missing out on an incredible GPU. Even though the Intel branded cards are no longer in production the partner cards are still being made. As far as I can tell they are the exact same silicon with different coolers strapped to them.

Lightroom Issue Fixed

Updating my previous review, I kept the card and they finally pushed a fix with the Arc drivers so denoise in Lightroom now works properly. Glad they're ironing out the issues, hopeful for continued improvement. Intel Tech Support was very responsive.
