Would this lens be a suitable macro and ultrawide for the Leica SL2-S?
Asked by: John
Hello, John! The Lumix S-R1428 is a good choice for wide-angle photography on the Leica SL2-S. It is particularly suitable for landscapes and close-up wide shots, thanks to its minimum focusing distance of 15 cm at the 14mm end. -C

I have the Lumix 18mm and 35mm f1.8 Primes. Would I be happing replacing them with this? Low light etc.
Asked by: Douglas
Any prime lens will be better in low light than a zoom lens, the majority of fast zoom lens are f2.8 while prime lens can be F1.2, 1.4 or F 1.8, if you have the 18mm F 1.8 but never shoot below F4 get the zoom lens, if you need the fast aperture look for a faster zoom or prime, so it all depends on the subject and the light you will photograph, but the zoom in question is not a good low light option unless you use a tripod or high ISO.
