The 10-Core GPU delivers a sharp, clear picture, and you'll be able to output video to an external display using the system's Thunderbolt 4 ports, which feature native DisplayPort output, or use the built-in HDMI port. This Mac mini supports up to two simultaneous displays, with one 6K / 60 Hz display using Thunderbolt 4 and a second 5K / 60 Hz display using Thunderbolt 4, or a 4K / 60 Hz display via HDMI.

For storing your files, this Mac mini is equipped with a 256GB SSD. If you want to add external peripherals, two Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 ports that support bidirectional transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s as well as 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2, plus charging and power for external devices. Thanks to two 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, you'll still be able to connect other devices to this system. A Gigabit Ethernet port is built in for wired networking, or use Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) for wireless access. Bluetooth 5.3 technology will allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals, including keyboards, mice, and headsets. Sound is output using a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple's Mac mini operates using an internal 150W power supply that runs off 100-240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz.

This Mac comes preloaded with macOS. Updates can be downloaded for free via the Mac App Store. Please check Apple's website for upgrade eligibility. Also, please be aware that a keyboard and mouse are not included.

I love the mac mini - the basic M2 $599 machine is more than powerful enough for my needs. I'm still shocked at how little footprint it occupies on my desk compared to the 2009 desktop mac pro it replaced.

Great upgrade to M2 power, but bring back USB ports . . .

This is my 3rd Mac Mini - I previously had 2006 and late 2014 models. So I was already well aware of how stable and well-engineered these systems are. The extra power and speed of the M2 - Icing on the cake. Based on my experience with Apple's software updates, which are pretty much required and always add additional stress to existing system resources - I'm sure I'll be glad that I opted for 16GM of memory. You have to plan ahead because memory is now soldered in and is NOT expandable. Every Apple computer I ever owned had to eventually be replaced due to HW resources not being able to keep up with SW updates. I never had to replace one for any type of HW failure. I was a little disappointed that Apple went from 4 to 2 USB ports, and added 2 Thunderbolt-4 ports that will never get used due to the cost of Thunderbolt cables and peripherals. And like most users, I'm using HDMI for video. I had to add a 10-port powered USB hub to take care of my existing - keyboard, mouse, scanner, CD/DVD reader/writer, external SSD drive for Time Machine, webcam, and for charging and syncing other devices (watch, iPhone, iPad, DAP, etc.). So it's a great 5-star computer, with a star taken off for - The lack of expandability/scalability of memory, and the lack of USB support.

This machine rocks!
