Good for a limited camera

Well, it looked tough. I took it on a trip and compared it to my iPhone 11. It was pretty near identical when taking the same shot. The battery gave me about 100 pictures, which seemed a bit short. I like how the panoramic setting works. You get to choose the start and stop positions. The underwater pictures were OK. The thing about UW, is you are never shooting far, so the camara doesn't need to be great. On the Underwater setting, it needed color correction with a photo editor, but they came out pretty good. The one annoyance of the camera was that though mostly the feel of the controls was good, the zoom controls were very hard to use due to stiffness. I like my RX100 IV better, but I didn't have that, so the PixPro had to do the job and it did. The UW pics here show before and after.

Could this camera connect wirelessly to a student Chromebook? I need my students to be able to upload pix to their Google Drives

Unfortunately, the Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 Digital Camera (Blue) is not capable of wirelessly transferring to a Chromebook. You will need to download via USB cable or memory card reader purchased separately.

The Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 Digital Camera is capable of wireless photo transfer via Wi-Fi; however, photo transfer via an SD card reader is a much more efficient and optimized process.

What is the estimated battery life? What is the recommended back-up battery?

A full charged battery will give you approximately 200 still images or 70 minutes of 1080p video at 30 FPS. The replacement battery is the LB-015 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery, which we do not carry at this time.
