If this lens is used in the Canon R, does the camera use automatically the IS of the lens ?

The Canon RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM Lens (Canon RF) used on the Canon EOS R will work and it will use the IS on the lens automatically. Note, the lens is not full frame. Used on the Canon EOS R model the image will be cropped 1.6 tims and you will lose a lot of resolution.
