PTZOptics Move SE PTZ Camera Reviews

Great Support from PTZOptics

Our Church had a pair of older model PTZOptics cameras and I thought it would be helpful to add a third to the setup. It started right up and the only problem was getting the Camera Management Platform to recognize it. A quick call to PTZOptics support resolved the issue. And I mean QUICK no waiting in a que, after a brief exchange about our setup the support person guided me through a small change to the default settings and I was in business. That is extreme support.

House of Worship use. Been a customer of PTZOptics for 8 years and never disappointed. The Move SE 30x is just down-right Wonderful to use. I purchased this to replace a PTZOptics 12x because I needed more optical zoom beyond the 12x and have been setting it up now for use. I am blown away at the ease of control this camera has over previous versions, I purchased a 30x in 2020 and the color/contrast etc. control that the Move has over that one is night and day difference. I spent hours last night trying to dial in the 30x and the 2016 other 12x I have to match the beauty that the Move SE provided me in 5 minutes - I've never had the color and clarity with the others that I am getting with the Move! Top Notch Kudos to the PTZOptics team for this one. Oh, a slight awesome note about the auto tracking - this is going to be fun to use now!

How close would this camera be in picture quality to the Sony BRC-H800? Can both of these be used on same RMP500 controller?
Asked by: Michael
The color should be similar since the PTZOptics Move SE uses a 1/2.8’’, SONY CMOS sensor. Also, the camera should be controllable with the Sony RM-IP500.

The PTZOptics PT-JOY-G4 IP/Serial Joystick Controller (4th Generation) included in the PTZOptics Producer-SE Camera & Controller Bundle (Gray) would need to be connected to the same Ethernet network as each PTZOptics Move SE SDI/HDMI/USB/IP PTZ Camera with 20x Optical Zoom (Gray) in order to control the cameras via IP. The controller can also be connected via serial RS-232 and daisy chained between the cameras for control via serial as well.
