With a form factor capable of slipping into your jeans or jacket pocket, the Kelvin Play RGBACL Full Spectrum LED Creative Pocket Light features a six-color light engine with an 18-LED panel ideal for content creators who want a wide array of creative light control. The Play is best suited for on-camera applications thanks to its dual 1/4"-20 mounting threads and magnetic back panel mount for attachment virtually anywhere. Its upgraded design allows for 35% more light output.

Its wide color temperature range of 1700 to 20,000K and four built-in modes can be controlled via Bluetooth 5.0 and the Kelvin Narrator app or using the onboard dial controls and 1.3" LCD screen. Various color accuracy ratings from a CRI of 98 to a CQS of 97 ensure accurate color reproduction. A built-in 2500 mAh battery keeps the light running for up to two hours at maximum brightness. Recharging the light is a breeze thanks to the USB-C port and included cable.

Bluetooth App Control
Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 allows you to control the Play panel from up to 328' away using the Kelvin Narrator App. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. Select between preset gel and creative effects and create your own lighting effects.
Onboard Control
Use the two integrated dial controls with the 1.3" TFT LCD on the back panel of the Play light for onboard control. Toggle between the CCT, HSI, and RGB modes and adjust dimming and color temperature.

Want to add a handle, what do you recommend for 1/4-20 w/ those anti-twist pins to match what is on this Play RGBACL unit?

The Kelvin Play RGBACL Full Spectrum LED Creative Pocket Light has a built-in 1/4-20 receiver. Any handle with the 1/4-20 screw size will work. Two options are: DigitalFoto Solution Limited Universal Handgrip for DSLR, Mirrorless, or Action Cameras. BH #DIR003 and the CAMVATE Hand Grip with 1/4"-20 Thread for DSLR, Monitor, or Video Light. BH#CAC1564

How much light output does this have compared to the Aputure MC Pro, since it's 18W?

Some V mount batteries like the BH #SM3580 support USB power out and could be used with the Kelvin Play RGBACL Full Spectrum LED Creative Pocket Light BH #KELVINKPLAY.

The Manufacture of the Kelvin Play RGBACL Full Spectrum LED Creative Pocket Light has not yet released the Photometrics (Lux and Lumens). They are waiting for the final test results on it.

If the internal battery is dead or low, will the USB input power the light, as a "pass through"?

No, if the Kelvin Play RGBACL Full Spectrum LED Creative Pocket Light's internal battery is dead the USB-C input would not be able to directly power the light. The battery would need to have/be able to hold a minim level of charge in order to power the light.
