Does the bottom of the stand need to be fixed to the work surface so the articulating arm wont fall over? I

It is necessary that the BenQ DesignVue PD2706UA 27" 4K HDR Creative Monitor with Ergo Arm be affixed to a work surface. However, the version with the stand can be used instead (without needing to mount it to a desk).

The BenQ PD2706UA 27" 4K Creative Monitor (Dark Gray), BH #BEPD2706UA, does not have a 18 Bit LUT. BenQ monitors that support 16 Bit LUT are the SW series.
