Hobolite Pro Overview

Equipped with a Bowens mount lens, the Pro Bi-Color LED Light Standard Kit from Hobolite is designed for compatibility with a wide array of light modifiers, so you can easily shape it to your requirements. Featuring superior performance, higher output, and extended control and power options, the light packs a bi-color punch, color accuracy, and smooth dimming. It is the only fixture of the brand's LED line with built-in full-sized Bowens capability. A detachable control panel allows adjustment of settings, including brightness and color temperature, with a clear LCD screen and knurled knobs. You can also manage various parameters of the fixture via app and NFC tap to quickly customize eight lighting effects.

Standard Kit
In addition to the light, this bundle also comes with a dual battery charger, a set of barndoors, and a V-mount clamp. Hobolite includes a classy, sturdy bag for storage and transportation of the light and smaller accessories.

Flexible Control & Easy Adjustments
The Pro features a detachable panel that can control the fixture attached to the power supply or remotely from a maximum distance of 65.6'.
  • Turn the knobs to seamlessly adjust the intensity from 0 to 100% and CCT from 2700 to 6500K
  • Simply push the knobs for adjustments in fixed and quick steps
  • 0% blackout option for continued control and adjustments without emitting light
Extended Power Options
Whether you're in the studio or out in the field, the Pro can be easily powered off mains power or combined with external batteries. The unit delivers up to 132 minutes of runtime using the two included Hobolite V-mount batteries at 25% brightness.

This light only seems to power up to 80% when on battery. Is this a limit? Where can I verify this, as I don't see it listed?

We made an inquiry to Hobolite and here is what they answered: 1. The PRO have 2 voltage input sources, the standard 16V input （where most batteries in the market use） and the 48V input (plug in AC source). 2. The PRO uses 300W of power, so each battery would output a maximum of 120W, and 2 batteries would equal 240W. 240W is 80% of 300W, hence the limit. 3. Why can 2 batteries only output 120W each while the power supply can supply the whole 300W? Its because the current max for the connectors are rated at 10A, so at 12V and 10A for the battery, the output is maxed out at 120W. While the power supply operates at 48V, which only needs around 6.25A to reach 300W

Does the pro300 dim itself from higher output modes as the battery declines? Couldn’t get 75% for more than a few seconds on bat
