Purchased this strap as a carry tool for a tripod. The magnetic latch system is very secure and easily rivals/surpasses the Peak Design quick release. Very easy to adjust the length of the strap, though it is a little bit on the light side. For a camera, they do make a more substantial design. Overall, very impressed.

I bought several links and straps for all my camera sets as I thought it will make my connection easier . I had 2 camera falls which made me look carefully to the buckle and magnetic string. the attachment mechanism depend on magnet which keeps the string secure in place. I noticed that some of the buckles don't keep the magnet well secured and tend to detach it so easily with simple movement for example holding the camera to take photos, I had 2 falls due to unnoticed magnet release. I took off all the links from the cameras that I have and put back the original straps (more secure). I was originally for peak design but I came through this and I thought it could be cheaper alternative. but it was totally useless even harmful to my camera. may be it was a good idea but it was a bad execution . original straps are the safest followed by straps which depend on mechanical mechanism. even using no strap is safer than these as then you take care and will keep holding your camera NB the first picture shows the bad buckle it keeps the magnetic link out off place even when you do it by hand. the second picture shows the good buckle keeping the link in place
