Experience a complete and compact music system with the Andover-One All-in-One Manual Three-Speed Turntable from Andover Audio. Providing performance and convenience in an all-in-one design, the Andover-One is built for music lovers and ideal for bedrooms, offices, and other spaces where a traditional hi-fi setup just isn't practical. The system combines a high-quality turntable made in Europe by Pro-Ject, a 200W RMS class-D amplifier, and bi-amplified speakers arranged in a 270° array for clear and precise sound reproduction with a wide soundstage.
All-in-One Achievement
Loudspeakers work by producing vibration. The business end of a turntable works by detecting vibration. Under conventional circumstances, mounting the turntable, amplifier, and loudspeaker together in the same cabinet is a recipe for unwanted vibration and feedback. Fortunately, the Andover-One system is anything but conventional. A trio of technologies overcomes the limitations of typical all-in-one systems. Andover Audio's IsoGroove technology, class-D amplifier, and 270° loudspeaker array combine to deliver room-filling music reproduction.
Turntable Hand-Made by Pro-Ject
Vinyl records have the potential for great sound. The Andover-One turntable brings that sound to life. It starts under the surface, where a custom sandwich of MDF and steel establish an ultra-stable platform of high mass and low resonance. Your records are traced beautifully by a high-compliance Ortofon 2M Silver cartridge, working at the end of a super-stiff, ultra-light carbon fiber tonearm. Additionally, the counterweight and anti-skate are adjustable if you would like to change to a different cartridge. It is everything you expect of a turntable made in Europe by Pro-Ject.
Class-D Bi-Amplification
Most power amplifiers generate substantial heat along with the wattage, which makes it difficult to fit a high-end turntable, a powerful amp, and a capable stereo loudspeaker into a single, compact enclosure. With the Model-One, Andover Audio has achieved just that. Their class-D amplifier is remarkably cool and compact while delivering 200 watts total RMS power. The speakers are bi-amplified for bass (70 watts x2) and treble (30 watts x2). As featured in high-end audio systems, this bi-amplification helps reduce distortion, even when the music is at its loudest.
270° Speaker Array
Getting legitimate stereo from a single, compact cabinet is a challenge. The Andover-One system rises to the challenge with a pair of Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeters and four aluminum inverted dome woofers, carefully arranged in a 270° array. The AMT design reproduces your music’s high-frequency detail with effortless transparency.
Simple Intuitive Interface
Rather than a jumble of knobs and switches, a single graceful dial handles all your selections, including bass, treble, turntable speed adjustment (±3%), and display brightness. The front-panel display shows an easy-to-read menu, making it a breeze to navigate sources and settings. Equally elegant is the radio frequency (RF) remote control. Unlike infrared remotes, it does not require line of sight to operate the unit.
Flexible Connectivity
In addition to the built-in turntable, the Andover-One system offers optical, digital coaxial, 3.5mm, and stereo RCA inputs to connect a wide variety of audio devices. A USB interface is available to play music from your computer or to send audio from the turntable to your computer for vinyl ripping. A Bluetooth input is available to stream music from compatible devices, with support for SBC, AAC, aptX, aptXHD, and aptX low-latency formats. Furthermore, the system has a preamp mono-RCA subwoofer out and a stereo-RCA line level output.
