The Fiberbilt PP6x13 Padded Partition is a divider used to provide additional adjustable space for a Case Design Fiberbilt 8" deep Adapt-A-Case. It is an interlocking divider made from 1/8" Masonite with foam padding.

I have two Fiberbilt cases from around 1975 which I love, but the partitions' foam had turned to dust and I was happy to see they were still available. I first ordered one of these partitions back in June 9, 2024. It arrived late July, ok it was special order. But it arrived WITHOUT the grooves to interlock other pieces (see photos) even when description phots on site show the grooves. I'll forgive that, so I ordered few more, two in 6 inch height and one in 8 inch height as my cases are different sizes. Again it took about 8 weeks to arrive and this time they had the grooves but the two 6inch high ones are actually 7inches high and extends beyond the case, not good. I need to order more but I don't have the confidence that they will get it right. They are special order and wonder if they will exchange?
Make sure you order these way before you need them, the wait time is several weeks. Seems like the 17 partition could have been a 1/4 to a 1/2 longer for a tighter fit. If you're handy, you might want to order one inch bigger and cut it down for a snugger fit.
