Mirror and Extended Desktop Mode
  • Mirror Mode: Both Windows and macOS laptops can mirror their desktops onto one or two monitors.
  • Extended Desktop Mode: With two monitors, Windows laptops can show different content on each. macOS laptops must show the same content across both monitors.

Resolution support for optional external monitors depends on HDMI compatibility:

Got this for MacBook Pro (M3 pro)+Apple Studio Display. Do I plug it into the MBP or the display? If the latter TB port or USB3?
