I just purchased one from BH. when the neck is raised, the top attachment has very noticeable movement. Is this normal?

UPDATE: I just received an email on how to fix the loose neck - and it worked perfectly. I am now fully satisfied with this product. The reply I received is below (not sure why it does not appear here): “Hello, there has been an issue with the Benro CyanBird Carbon Fiber / Aluminum Tripod with N00P Ball Head becoming too loose when it is shipped. Try to remove the wrench from the hook on the underside of the center column (unscrew the hook). Then, remove the head of the tripod and use the wrench to tighten the short piece of the center column to the long piece (screw top down on the center column). This should solve the issue.”
